I love so much stories of older siblings having to save their younger siblings from a magical kidnapping it’s just. I’m too old to believe in magic and you’re not but you’re the one stolen and I’m the one who has to believe to get you back because our parents are too far gone, they’ll never understand. i think we underestimate the extent to which people are influenced by the music on the radio. wish i could be bothered finding specific examples. songs about staying in abusive relationships ‘cause abuse feels good. or how cool it is to callously use people for sex. songs that are just straight up a list of luxury brand names. there’s a couple of songs that are just like “we’re stupid we’re dumb haha woohoo”
